School closings vote has been changed again by English Montreal School Board. On monday, EMSB announced the change of the school that will be closed from six schools become just three schools. Committee also announced the blocking of school relocations and another programs that proposed.

No final decisions has been made yet on how this school closings will be. The schools that had been threatened for closing suggested to still remains open. The three school which is included in this plan is Nesbitt in Rosemont, Carlyle in Town of Mount Royal and James Lyng High School in St. Henri.

The committee that proposed the school closings also weighed in with its suggestion on a proposal to merge St. Gabriel and St. John Bosco elementary schools. Committee recommends St. John Bosco in Ville Émard be closed and that its students move to St. Gabriel’s in Point St. Charles, with Vezina Alternative High School also remaining in St. Gabe’s building. But the final decisions has not been made yet. Those decisions maybe changed in the future. We just can wait until it comes.
